The large, open kitchen is the heart of the hotel. Here guests begin their day with an expansive breakfast buffet. In the afternoon we will spoil you with some small snacks and refreshing drinks. To end your day, pamper yourself with an exclusive three-course dinner prepared by our in-house chef (exclusively for hotel guests and only with prior reservation). Explorers can choose to have a picnic basket of assorted culinary delights to accompany them on island excursions.
In the Kitchen Club, we place the highest value on top quality food. Cooking is a passion for Barbara, which was awakened in her earliest childhood. A highlight of her 5 year hospitality education was a six-month internship in a European Michelin starred restaurant. Barbara is happy to pass on the tricks of the trade learned there to interested guests in cooking classes and kitchen parties – including recipes to try again.
The basis for our cuisine are exquisite ingredients locally sourced. No matter whether meat, dairy products, fruit and vegetables from the farmers in the neighbourhood or fish, lobster, oysters, mussels and other shellfish from the fishermen in the nearby harbour – only sustainable products that we enjoy with all 5 senses are good enough to be placed on our plates.
We are happy to conduct cooking courses in the off-season, but exclusively for groups. Registrations for the Kitchen Club are accepted directly at the time of reservation or on site at the latest the evening before the event.
